What’s Included

The suite contains three coordinated plugins, each handling a specific responsibility:

Authentication - DotsCastle Email Login

• Allows users to log in using their email address instead of username

System - DotsCastle Email as Username

• Automatically sets username to the email address
• Reorders the registration form fields to a natural sequence: Name → Email → Password
• Removes the “Forgot Username” link
• Updates Registration, Login and Password Reset forms
• Adds helpful placeholder text (e.g. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

User - DotsCastle Email Username Sync (Recommended)

• Keeps username and email synchronized
• Updates username when a user logs in
• Updates username when a user saves their profile
